Start with a scenic drive from Reykjavik, approximately 1 hour, to Deildartunguhver, Europe’s most powerful hot spring. Here, 180 liters of boiling water flow per second, creating a captivating atmosphere with rising steam. Take 10 minutes to explore the site and enjoy the breathtaking geothermal landscape.

Next, drive just 20 minutes to Reykholtkirkja, a charming church in the village of Reykholt, built in 1878. Known for its historical connection to Iceland’s medieval historian Snorri Sturluson, the church offers insight into the region’s rich literary and cultural heritage. Spend 15 minutes here to admire its architecture and stained glass windows.

The adventure continues with a 1-hour drive to Langjökull Glacier, Iceland’s second-largest glacier.
