Travel time: approx. 1.5 hours from Reykjavík to Seljalandsfoss.

Seljalandsfoss Waterfall
We’ll begin our journey by heading towards the south coast, making a stop at Seljalandsfoss, one of Iceland’s most famous waterfalls, standing 60 meters tall. You’ll have 30 minutes to admire the beauty of the waterfall and, if you wish, walk behind it for a unique experience. (Activity: 30 min.)

Travel time: approx. 1 hour from Seljalandsfoss to Gígjökull.

Gígjökull Glacier
Next, we’ll continue towards Þórsmörk, stopping at the Gígjökull glacier, a glacial tongue of Eyjafjallajökull volcano. Here, you’ll have 20 minutes to take in the stunning landscape shaped by the 2010 eruption. (Activity: 20 min.)

Travel time: approx. 30 minutes from Gígjökull to Stakkholtsgjá Canyon.

Stakkholtsgjá Canyon
Our next stop is the dramatic Stakkholtsgjá Canyon, a 2-kilometer long canyon surrounded by moss-covered cliffs. We’ll embark on a short hike to the end of the canyon, where a small waterfall awaits. (Activity: 45 min.)

Travel time: approx. 1 hour from Stakkholtsgjá to Thorsmork Valley.

Thorsmork Valley
Now, we enter the heart of Thorsmork, a lush valley surrounded by glaciers. Here, we’ll cross rivers and traverse rugged terrain in our Super Jeep. After exploring the area, you’ll have time for a short hike or a relaxing break to enjoy the breathtaking views. (Activity: 1.5 hours.)

Travel time: approx. 30 minutes from Thorsmork to Nauthúsagil Ravine.

Nauthúsagil Ravine
Before heading back, we’ll visit Nauthúsagil, a hidden gem with beautiful rowan trees and a stunning waterfall at the end of the ravine. We’ll walk through the narrow gorge and enjoy the magical atmosphere. (Activity: 30 min.)

Travel time: approx. 1 hour from Nauthúsagil to Hvolsvöllur.

Return to Reykjavík
After a day filled with natural wonders, we’ll make our way back to Hvolsvöllur for a coffee stop before returning to Reykjavík, with an estimated arrival time around 6:00 PM. (Total travel time: approx. 2 hours.)
